It Is Finished

My dad passed away peacefully this afternoon at 1:20 PM. He gave my mom a big smile, then looked up into the corner of the family room, gave her one more big smile and he was gone. We think the second smile was from a glimpse into eternity. Funeral details to come. I can imagine the celebration going on in heaven right now. He has been healed and he is with his Saviour.

Yes, I'm sure there's a celebration going on in heaven. Down here, we will greatly miss him - our prayers are with your family as you head into this next season of life.

We are back home late Friday ... I'm hoping the funeral is later than that!!!

I'll be in touch.

Love & Prayers,

Karen

Yahweh is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
In grassy meadows he lets me lie. By tranquil streams he leads me
to restore my spirit. He guides me in paths of saving justice as befits his name.
Even were I to walk in a ravine as dark as death I should fear no danger, for you are at my side. Your staff and your crook are there to soothe me.
You prepare a table for me under the eyes of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup brims over.
Kindness and faithful love pursue me every day of my life. I make my home in the house of Yahweh for all time to come.

I spoke with your Dad and my best friend on many occasions. He shared with me his thoughts and his courage was an inspiration to me. He told me about how he loved each one of you girls and your Mom so much. He shared with me his wishes, his medical wishes, what he wanted and what he did not want many times.
We had plenty of discussions and I know what was clear in his mind for the future.
Truly a man of inspiration for other men, other fathers, other husbands, Pastors and other Christians.
I know his heart and I know his will. Your Dad knew the Lord's heart and the Lord's will.
We have been blessed by the time we all shared together.
I am here for each one of you 24x7 and so is Barb as you know. That will never change.
We love you all very much and our prayers for each of you is constant.
Rejoice in your Dads new life, new body and a wonderful eternity. I can not begin to put into words what I want to say so I will end it with this. You all were his life. His Ministry included each one of you and God directed that too.

There are times when words are inadequate to express our heart. For me, there was in Jesse a humble strength. If anyone could ever say follow me as I follow Christ it was Jessie. My life, all of us who knew him, our enriched for the privilege of knowing him. Just as our Heavenly Father gave Jesse dying grace I know he will give your family living grace for the days ahead. God has been and continues to be glorified by the way you walked through these difficult days as a family.

Your dad has so many crowns to lay at Jesus feet! I know he is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord, completely healed.

He led the way for so many people to find their faith in Jesus. What a man of God!

I pray peace and comfort and God's grace for your family.

You have shared the story well and Jesse's story will go on in the lives of your family and so many people he has touched.

God Bless!

How great and good is our God! I am thankful for the years that He gave us witnessing and experiencing the gift of His faithful servant named Jesse. I am thankful for the gift of salvation that our Lord gave so freely so that times like this can be softened with His grace and mercy. Please know that there is an army of intercessors around the world praying for you NOW and BEYOND.

HOME AT LAST!
Our dear friend and ministry partner is finally home with the Lord he loved and served so faithfully. Praise God for his deliverance from pain and suffering. Just think he is seeing Jesus face to face along with all of those who have gone on before him.

Jesse will be missed but he has left many ambassadors for Christ who will need to pick up the torch. Even today God is busying calling for those to answer His call.

To the dear family, our prayers and support are for you as you travel this challenging road. Be assured that you are not alone, you have friends all around wanting to help but more than that you have the Lord who will be just as faithful to you as he was to Jesse. So walk by faith into this new adventure and watch God bless you each one.

Jesse has inpacted so many lives, his absence has left a big hole in many people's lives (mine included), but the love of Jesus will fill that hole to overflowing.

It is amazing that Jesse now is in the presence of the Lord, and also with Paul, Moses, Abraham, James, John and other heroes of Scripture. I'm sure that Jesse's tears from leaving his loved ones behind are replaced with the love of the Lord and the community of those heroes from Scripture.

Jesse's gentle nudges will be missed, his encouraging words and easy laughter will find no replacement, but his love of the Lord will continue in each and every one of us his life has touched.

Kathy, Christina, Angela, Sthepanie and Emily, I mourn with you, but I also rejoice knowing that in the resurrection, we will all be rejoined to our brother.

Love and Prayers

I remember your father saying that there is a time to live and a time to die. The time has come for your father to die. He knew that everyone dies and everyone has the opportunity to improve their lives and the lives of others. Your father dedicated his life to improving the lives of others. A lesson I have taken from knowing your father is that I to will try and improve the lives of others. To me that is the greatest gift someone can leave to another and I thank your father for passing his gift on to me.
