Dear Kathy and Family,
I just learned of Jesse's passing and am deeply saddened. It was such a joy to meet him last year and to hear all the testimonies from people who were touched by his life. What a man of God! I will continue to pray for you as you begin this new journey in your life. May God give you exactly what you need each and every day. His love. His comfort. His assurance. His hope. His mercy. His grace.
Love,
Carrie Chipman

To Kathy & girls
I just got word about the news, I just want you all to know how much Jesse meant to me as a friend, pastor and mentor. I cherish the time we had in seminary and on the roof shingling and working in the church together. May God richly bless you and keep you in His loving embrace as you prepare for the service to come. I wish I could be there for the service, but my prayers are with you now and the days ahead.
Your brother in Christ, Ron Spidla

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of Jesse. We only found out about his illness and passing today. We have had some experience with ALS in our family and are very sad that Jesse and all of you were exposed to this terrible disease.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
